MAMARONECK, NY – June 24, 2007:  What do million dollar townhouses and world class athletes have in common?  The NY Sportimes of World Team Tennis!  Deepstone Partners is the latest company to align with the NY Sportimes as a 2007 season sponsor.  The Sportimes are one of WTT’s premier franchises, based in Westchester.  Deepstone is developing 15 elegant town homes in Stamford, Connecticut under the “Center Ridge” name.  These glorious homes, starting at $689,000, feature grand slam amenities for the discerning customer.

“Our customers work hard and play hard and want to come home to a setting that reflects their success in life,” commented Nick Barile, the Deepstone partner spearheading the Center Ridge Project.  He continued, “I personally have enjoyed the Sportimes with my family for several years and I recognized the business opportunity that sponsorship presented.”  Customers inquiring about Center Ridge will be rewarded with free tickets to the Sportime’s versus the Kansas City Explorers featuring the Bryan Brothers, on July 10th at Sportime Stadium at Harbor Island in Mamaroneck.  The Bryan’s are the #1 ranked doubles team in the world.  Center Ridge will host a nightly kiosk at Sportime’s matches where the public can see a preview of the town homes, scheduled for occupancy in the spring 2008.

“NY Sportimes TeamTennis attracts fans from a broad demographic, but among our fan base is certainly an ideal audience for the Center Ridge project,” said Claude Okin, managing partner of the Sportimes.  He continued, “Nick has been a great Sportime’s fan and his latest project is really right up the road from our venue.  It is our pleasure to create unique and beneficial promotional opportunities for our sponsors.”

Customers may inquire about Center Ridge by calling Russ Dutcher at 203-637-4581, x125 or may visit www.centerridgestamford.com.   For more information about this program or to inquire about sponsorship opportunities, please call Ann Marie Gaudio, general manager, NY Sportimes at 845-942-1382.  For more information about the New York Sportimes, visit www.nysportimes.com.

About WTT:  Now in its 32nd year of play, World TeamTennis is well known for introducing innovative elements to tennis. Instant replay, which debuted at WTT matches in 2005 as the WTT Coaches Challenge, marked the first time the technology had been used in a professional tennis match, will return to select WTT matches in 2007. Other WTT firsts include co-ed format, cumulative and no-ad scoring, on-court coaching, Supertiebreakers, multi-colored courts and player names on back of their shirts.

The unique gender-balanced team concept for WTT was created in the early 70s by League co-founders Billie Jean King and Larry King. The format used for a WTT Pro League match features teams comprised of two men, two women and a coach. Each match consists of five sets, with one set each of men’s and women’s singles, men’s and women’s doubles and mixed doubles.

Advanta is the presenting sponsor of the WTT Pro League and the official business credit card of World TeamTennis. Official WTT Pro League sponsors also include Bälle de Mätch, Gatorade, Geico and Wilson Racquet Sports.  For more information on WTT including team rosters, visit www.WTT.com
